The spread of Smart Working projects in companies has grown from 17% of 2015 to the current 30%, while within SMBs it has remained stable at 5%. Today, 7% of Italian workers have flexible work conditions as regards location, schedule and work tools (5% in 2013), and the benefits pointed out by Smart Workers are related to career, professional performances and work-life balance. Digital technologies enabling Smart Working within companies include social collaboration, mobile instruments, workspace technology, and accessibility tools.
