The cloud Journey towards hybrid information systems

    €110.00
    +vat
ICT Departments are becoming more aware and are beginning to take a more mature approach to this topic and to understand the real repercussions for the corporate information system. Companies have invested 1.05 billion Euros to develop and update their existing infrastructural and application assets. In doing so, the use of Cloud services appears less improvised and more closely connected to corporate information system strategies of evolution. Investment for these enabling factors, which we know under the umbrella term “Cloud Enabling Infrastructure”, allow a hybrid information system to be created. This system combines the internal systems with the services offered by the Public Cloud and enhances the features and opportunities of both models.

Digital Transformation: B2b… or not to be

    €110.00
    +vat
The Digitalization of companies can bring multiple benefits, not only to single organizations, but to the entire Country System. B2b, namely the combination of intercompany processes supported by digital technologies that characterize the typical “client-supplier” relationship, represents the select scope to implement this process. Innovation possibilities are, in fact, plenty for businesses that, however, are still a long way from being real “digital organizations”.

Cloud: has the age of reason been reached?

    FREE
In 2016, the Cloud reaches the age of reason. Market data show a no crisis trend: the growth of the two Cloud components, the Public Cloud and Cloud Enabling Infrastructure, is a positive sign for the Country, and appears to be in line with the global picture portrayed by international analysts. The approach adopted by companies highlights important change trends, a shift to a phase of greater maturity that is reflected on one hand by the launch of important Public Cloud projects for critical infrastructure, and on the other by the specialization of an increasingly vertical and core application services supply, compared to business organizations’ requirements.

The shadows overhanging Cloud computing have vanished and now is a good time to act. Despite a 25% overall growth in Cloud computing with an estimated value of 1.51 billion Euros in 2015, organisations are still unable to grasp the enabling elements, reference models and main approaches linked to Cloud technology. We will begin by examining the choices that affect an organisation’s strategies in the Cloud field, what is changing in the ICT offer, how the offer is evolving to meet new company requirements, how intermediation and aggregation models for Cloud services have altered and what their level of maturity is.

B2C E-Commerce: Comparing the International and Italian Markets

    €110.00
    +vat
Taking as a benchmark the major European markets (UK, Germany, France and Spain), the USA, and the major Far Eastern markets (South Korea and Japan), these show markedly higher penetration rates for e-commerce than Italy, and slightly lower growth rates. Compared to the emerging markets (Brazil, India and Russia), Italy has a somewhat higher penetration rate and a generally lower growth rate. Italy occupies an anomalous position, having a growth rate in line with more mature markets, but a penetration rate only slightly above that in emerging markets. In other words, a market that is neither very dynamic nor very mature, but holding as yet untapped potential.
