The Mobile Enterprise market, considered as the expenditure made by companies on digital solutions that are geared towards employee mobility, was worth 2.2 billion Euros in 2014, and we expect it to be over 3.3 billion Euros by 2017, with a 53% growth in three years. Nearly one SME in four in Italy has yet to introduce a single mobile device within the company (no notebook or smartphone or tablet) and only 25% of them are using mobile biz-apps to help their business processes. A significant 60% see no need or gain in using these apps. In 2015, companies made 10 billion Euros in savings by using apps, tablets and smartphones within their business. Large companies, SMEs and public authorities that make use of mobile solutions to support their business processes benefit greatly in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, and, in terms of the staff working with mobile devices, they made savings of around 10 billion Euros in 2015.
