The webinar aims to develop and enhance Business Intelligence & Analytics knowledge and competences through a combination of operating and strategic in-depth analyses in addition to suggestions and best practices to manage the big data universe.
Full professor of Computer Sciences at the Politecnico di Milano where he teaches Optimization, Business intelligence and Data Mining courses. He is the head of the door, Data mining & Optimization Research group, and of the Big Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Observatory. His research interests focus on predictive data mining and machine learning methods, their applications in relational marketing, biolife sciences, social networks; business intelligence and big data analytics; supply chain optimization and revenue management. Previously, prior to the degree in Mathematical Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Milano, he operated at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche - CNR (National Research Council), Università Bocconi, Università degli Studi di Milano. He authored over 90 scientific papers, including 6 books and more than 70 articles published in international magazines. He conducted projects on behalf of multiple companies on big data analytics, sentiment analysis, marketing, data analysis, predictive modeling, data mining, risk analysis, supply chain optimization, quality control themes. He coordinated numerous national and international research programs funded by EEC, CNR and MIUR.
